Wow. Titan Quest looks incredible!

Reminds me of Diablo II graphics wise - but a bit more detailed. I'm sure it wouldn't compare to WoW, NWN, Guild Wars, etc.

Edit - Adter watching the video I'm wondering if the character used is godly, or those were easier monsters than they appeared.

I like how when he shoots shit with his bow it flies into the air. Hehe.

The only difference is camera angles - if D2 used as much animation for things it would be nearly the same... hence "reminds me". Screenshot number 6/8 looks like Lut Gholein.

There is no valid comparison. World of Warcraft and Guild Wars are MMOGs. NWN is a D&D-style RPG, which is its own genre of RPG. For example, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale...

Titan Quest is a single-player Action RPG, like Diablo 2, but this game ought to be far superior. I know the team analyzed Diablo 2 in-depth as well as numerous other RPGs to determine which elements work and which do not.

Is it just me or do those arrows move way too damn slow.

I hope they fix their animations, lots of things that fly are going super slow, while everything else is moving normal, Really makes it look half assed, and shitty.


Also needs to work on that whole problem of things being thrown high into the air, when they should be knocked back.

I like how far those small creatures fly when hit with a single arrow.

Its cool how far they fly, but what really bugs me is how HIGH they're lifted,... that just ruins the effect, making what could have been a cool, almost real looking effect, to something just cheesy.

I am glad that they showed actual gameplay instead of some cutscenes. Still, I think the Diablo 2 comparison is accurate.

That game looks like crap.
Just a rip-off of Diablo 2 but with 3d graphics and shadows, probably missing everything which made Diablo 2 great.

I think it looks pretty cool. Does anyone know if it's going to be multi-plat?

Looks cool IMHO. The arrow thingy is good, just needs some work. But that toon must have been in god mode. But thats fine. I always like to see huge amounts of carnage. =)

Yeah, it's almost like it's a very early version of a game not due for release until mid-2006.
