Pyre Light Studios (Under Construction)

The site''s been around (public, anyway) since June 1999. Our history goes back much farther then that (as far as 1996), though, since GDNet is the result of 3 other sites merging. There are quite a few people still around from the original sites.

Soon, the date a person registered will be displayed in their posts, since I think that''s much more relevant than the number of posts.

i''m in a lab right now. what access do i have to any books than those that i brought w/ me?

besides, I, like everyone else on GD, believes it much less of a hassle to just ask for the help of everybody else instead of actually trying to find an answer myself

LOL, Actually when redecorating my room I made a HUGE table for my computer and now basically anything I need is near me on one of the piles on it. The less often I use something the more I have to dig, it's very effective . The dictionary did cost me quite a while to find. But if you want to know a good online english dictionary try Merriam-Webster. My sister owns a hardcopy version of it, it's quite good.

Ah yes, I was lurking in the shadows way back in the days of MP3 beating compression (some people will know what I mean ), when SiCrane was king poster with a massive 900 or so posts, and a certain nes8bit and his fellow band of post happy minions weren''t even born . I didn''t register for ages though (because I didn''t have anything to say ) and i''ve changed registration recently... so recently in fact, that this is my first post under my whole new guise... mwahahaha .

Erm, anyway, yeah... I think that was about the turn of the year... hmm, those were the days... no one even bothered posting in the Lounge... now the general programming forum struggles to keep ahead (it''s winning atm though ).
