I know I'm not the only one on here, so here's the deal. DeviateSoft (once DanAvision Software Entertainment as most people on here knew it) is a new game design team starting up at the Savannah College of Art and Design. We'll be operating as a club once we declare ourselves to be that with the school, but in the meantime we'll just be a ragtag group of kids interested in making games. Your major does not matter, so even if you're a Fibers or Jewelry major, come on down if you'd like to be part of SCAD's newest game design team. We'll find a place for ya. Please reformat your post according to the help wanted template found in the *** READ BEFORE POSTING *** thread. You don't need to repost - You can edit your original post using the EDIT button in the upper right corner of your message.

Providing the information that the template requests enables potential team mates to better judge the status of your project and means you are more likely to get decent responses.

Wow. My game design teacher from last semester here in Phoenix started the Game Design Program at SCAD. Small world!

Unfortunately, though I would have used the template, mostly everything on there would have come out as "Unknown" or "N/A" and that's just not appealing. The point is not to say that I already have a team, but that students at SCAD are invited to help create one. This is what it would have looked like had I used the template:

Team name: DeviateSoft (subject to change)

Project name: Unknown

Brief description: N/A

Target aim: Get SCAD kids together to make games.

Compensation: Probably none / Unknown

Technology: Whatever SCAD gives us.

Talent needed: Anyone at SCAD who is interested.

Team structure: IDK!!!!

So as you can see, the format of the normal template does not fit the needs for the team as the team, nor project, nor any other info, exists yet. The point is to first get the students together and then figure the rest out. Sorry if this bends the rules a little, I just don't feel that the template format really gets across what I am trying to achieve.
