The Quake 3 source code has been released under the GPL. Why not download a copy and poke through it?

Thanks for the help, but i could not found the specific region with the protocol implementation.

I have one another question.
Does anyone know if the Quake 3 Arena protocol is encrypted by any way?
and if so, how?

What exactly do you mean by "Quake 3 Protocol"?
I imagine he is referring to the network protocol for multiplayer games.

See now why would you need the quake3 network protocol unless you had some less then legitamate means for it?

But anyways, yes the quake3 protocol is encrypted. As was said before if you really truly want to figure it out, open up the source and take a look, because in all honesty if your actually at a level of experience where you could do something with it, you'd be able to find it easily enough.

Thanks [smile]
I was thinking of using this protocol for some game i'm working on, not as complicated as quake but still, i guessed this protocol would be pretty good if quake uses it. I did not know it was illeagle to use it for my own programs, sorry.
