Found out about this contest yesterday and im still thinking of something that would be fun to make. One of the ideas I had was this... Sketch: URL: http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/183/platform23pn.jpg The black stick dude would be the player. His weapon has a special light that shows these invisible monsters, but hides the map where the player points it. Im thinking "No." but would this count as "two simultaneous views of the game world"?

If it were on all the time, then yes, I'd allow it. There's nothing that says the views have to be rectangular windows or anything.

That's a really interesting approach - I was thinking only along the 'two windows' line.
