Rubik's Cube Help

This might be a more appropriate forum..

First, you peel the tan square off the red side, and place it someplace safe. Then, you peel the red square off the tan side, and place it where the tan square used to be. Place the tan square you placed someplace safe where the red square used to be.

Repeat as neccessary to reach a solved cube.

Hold the cube so the blue face is the Front (F) face, then:

L D R D^-1 L^-1 D R^-1 D^-1

Post what it looks like then and I'll tell you how to finish.

Nevermind, just hold it so the Peach color face is the Front face, then:

F D F^-1 D^-1 F D F^-1 D^-1 U F D F^-1 D^-1 F D F^-1 D^-1 U F D F^-1 D^-1 F D F^-1 D^-1

And you'll be done!

ok, you have it all done except for those three blue corners in the top layer, which need rearranging and flipping... *deep breath*

hold the cube with the green face still on the bottom, and with the yellow side facing you, and do the following steps (a ! means an anti-clockwise rotation when looking straight at that side, otherwise its clockwise)

top right !top !left top !right !top left

always keep one face facing you when you do this, dont turn the whole cube or anything, just the one layer. Do this a few times untill all of the top blue corner pieces are in the right places. Not necesarily flipped the right way around, but the colours should match. Might take 2-3 go's.

Ok, now you should have the blue corners in the right places. Keeping green on the bottom, and the red side facing you, turn the top layer until one of the wrongly flipped corners is on the top right of the red face (sorry if this is confusing). Now repeat the following sequence until the corner is placed in the top layer correctly (could take up to 4 times)

!right !bottom right bottom

once you've done a corner, rotate the top layer again, and do the same with the other wrongly flipped corners, keeping red facing you again, until you're finished

Hope that isnt as confusing to read as it was to write =)

I am really impressed (or maybe I am looking for a different word here, heh) by those who can solve cubes in under 20 seconds and with a blindfold on after just having seen the cube for a couple of seconds. It's crazy I tells ya

I went to the National Cube Competition (or whatever the official name of it is) at Caltech in the summer of 2005. They did all the size cubes (3x3x3, 4x4x4, and 5x5x5). Those people were incredible.

Thanks everyone for your help. Now I just have to memorize all these steps.

I was watching a movie a while back and somebody had a 2x2x2 cube on a desk. I want one of those.
