It is a lot of work but I am not crushed since it will be fun making it anyway, don't we all enjoy coding. No rush.

The physics are for tilting the ship when it strafes or fluctuates when it howers. The game should be more realisitic (rich in content) when it comes to charging weapons, refueling and replenishing air tanks etc.

I got dibs on doing the AI code.

AI might be complicated especialy for slowing time if the bots feel like your reaction is to fast. Ofcourse in only certain levels or when they find a time crystal. Dam I give my self goosbumps. It's like Ha ha ha see ya -> AfterBurner -> what the? why am I going slower that with ion drives. Zap and goodbye space suit - after that just don't leave the ship PLEASE unless you were born "gifted" :)

L-O-L maybe whhheee should put dwarfs as prisoners and have princces Linki save them in a ship that looks like a hockey helmet. But yes you can marry hulk just don't complain about a doctor :P

It could be funny if the hulk was stomping ships in the game. Now that requires some serious physics kekekeke.

Maybe you can make a mini secret level with hokey have a ship howering taking pictures over the ice and the winnig team get's to have a little barbeque after wards with a napalm after taste if ya catch my drift. That maybe just what Chandler is looking for! We can call the level "Hell on Ice" make it very very graphic and have no refaree or heck let's just fry him to afterwards even if he don't give us timeouts.

Thats actually an interesting question. Interplay has gone long out of business, and so I have to wonder who holds the IP rights to the series.

Ah actually, yes, we are being a collective bunch of asses, with the exception of Ysaneya, who is working on his own completely awesome space game - which I drool over at least once a week.
However, the points we're making here seem to be:
1) You posted this in the Lounge (So if you're being serious, its the wrong place to go)
2) Most of the people here are tired of "omg I got a great idea leads make a sequal to game X - Only better!". It happens too often.
3) Your post is tiny, doesnt go into any sort of details. You don't present a design document, any qualifications, no screenshots of anything (including previous work). In short, theres nothing here to make us desire to respond seriously.
4) There are some issues such as what Ysaneya mentioned, in regarded to the rights to the series.
5) I forgot #5, are we still on for the bbq?
