Were still looking!

We are now working on a basic design document, so i will post that as soon as its ready.

Also We are looking for a writer to write a more "convincing" story for the game. Maybe just to work on the current story. This is be a one off job, so we are not looking for a writer staying with us long term.

thanks.

UPDATE
Hello,

So far weve got the most part of the Design Document complete. If anyone is interested in filling a programming position. Please make sure you are able to write in good english, as we may ask you to type more technical descriptions in the document at a later date.

Also we are really in need of an artist able to model at the moment, you should have a good understaning of characters, and both low and high poly modeling.

Thank you for reading.

Hi Gamedev.net,

Havnt had any responses in a while so i thought i would post again.

UPDATE:
We have our voices all done, ready for the game when its at the right stage, at bionic studios we think that its better to get all the artwork done while the programming is under way. This means if something is ready to be put in place it can be.

The list on the post above is still up to date. however i would like to say that we are looking for 3d modelers and programmers the most at the moment. if you think you can fill those positions contact me.

Hello,

I don't mean this post to seem rude or negative, but I have some advice. You've posted seven times about this game, and have had no feedback or responses yet. Perhaps if you change several things about your post...you might get a better response.

1) Spell check and grammar. While I'm not God's gift to the English language either, it would make a much better impression if you checked over your post. One or two misspellings are not a huge problem, but to have many (and this post does) gives a bad impression. It makes the viewer think, "If this person doesn't care enough or isn't detailed oriented enough to fix these mistakes...what would they be like in a working relationship?"

2) I noticed you had one modeler on your crew and was wondering if there was any way you could post some of his work? These indie projects are a dime a dozen, so having some examples of your crew's work can help you stand out from the masses. You want to make your project and crew grab the public’s attention and make them want to be a part of this project. While you did grab my attention, it was for the wrong reasons.

3) Demonstrate in the design document (or something else) a clear, well thought out plan of attack. Making a video game is a very long, tedious task. We all know this. Having reasonable goals and a good, solid plan of attack will make your crew and project seem more professional and hopefully draw more positive responses.

4) You want highly experienced people for your positions. Highly experienced people do not just join up with any crew. Most people with this level of expertise want to know about the people they are working for. Perhaps you could post some basic info about each member of your crew. I'm not meaning personal info- but rather level of experience, past projects and educational background. If you have a great crew- show them off!! You’ll find the better your crew is (and the more you flaunt them) the more other talented people want to join. Look at all of the video game companies large and small. They show off their talent and products. As a result, huge amounts of people say to themselves: “That’s what I want to do!!”

I think if you do these four simple steps, you'll see a better response from the gamedev.net community.

I wish you the best of luck in your goals.

this looks like something, that has been done with an expertise and love. In spite of having too many bad experiences with similar projects, i wish you all the best. (you will need luck in this world... :-))

Official Disclaimer (for delatores etc.) Hereby I testify that my post is trying to be constructive and that it poses, in my opinion, a legitimate question(s) and/or helpful advice. It may not be exactly what you wanted to hear, but it is intended as a good advice. I just try to pose some good questions about the game and please take my questions as innocuous. If you think otherwise, disregard my post.

Borkhan = the first member this year, that will have, with the help of the usual slimy delators, 0 points. :-))

Actually no, there have been several people hit a 0 rating this year. Furthermore, if I find you wasting space in any more threads with useless whining like this I'll issue a short suspension of your posting privledges.

UPDATE:

Ok, so we now have 2 dedicated programmers, and a documentator, weve set up a private wiki for new and current programmers to be able to see where were at. A forum for team announcements, artists images, and so on. And a basic website.

We are now looking for...

- 1x Concept Artist (With extensive knowlage in character design, and a lot of spare time on their hands)

- 2x 3D Modelers:
+ 1 Modeler with knowlage of medium to low poly character modeling, cinematic (high poly) work is an added extra.

+ 1 Modeler with knowlage of enviroment modeling, able to create brilliant scenes, for both in-game and movie quality. Also we would prefer if you can texture your scenes aswell.

- 1x Expert Web Designer, capable of producing flash/php/html websites, should be available quite a lot, however, the websites should be easy to edit by the rest of the team to update information.

Thank you for reading.
