Here comes the compulsory introduction post:

My name is Johan. I'm a 23 year old programmer from the Netherlands. I've been programming in the "real world" for about two and a half years now.
The reason for me to participate in this drawing workshop is that I have a realy hard time to program in the evenings, so instead of stressing my left half of the brain in the evenings, I decided that the right half also needs some exercise. And it's going to get quite some exercise alright as I haven't touched a pencil for over six years. ;)

My goal for this workshop is to learn some basic drawing skills and to get my mind on the right track for drawing.

I will arrange a printer and scanner as soon as possible so that I can post things, and I will use my holidays next week to catch up with you.
