I was just thinking, that we (humanity) has reached an almost flawless age of games with beautiful graphics, and that since you can't get that much better than Oblivion and Call of Duty 3, do you think video cards will kind of "level out", and the need for more powerful ones decline??? I mean, I was thinking of upgrading to that sexy nVidia ?720? mb (about) videocard, because I don't think the industry will really need to have more powerful cards than that. If Doom 3's graphics aren't perfect, WTF is perfect then? If I bought that card, do you think I'd need to upgrade in the next 10 years? I don't want to purchase a $500.00 dollar card to see it become obsolete 5 years down the road. (In which case I'd probably buy a second and use that "split the screen in half, one side per card) thing??? sliceanddice Most people get away with a single 256 mb nVidia, but I want the extra firepower... (I always get the best of everything, I have an 80 GB iPod, and I've only filled 15 GB's....)
