Need some help with c++ for dummies

Cant believe Im stuck right at the begining, how embarrassing. It has me using the programd Dev-C++ by bloodshed It asks me to put in this line: cout << "Hello, I am your computer talking." << end1; But when i try and compile it, get error saying end1 is undefined. Does that line look wrong?

endl, with a lowercase "L" (as in endline), not end1.

it is << endl
with a "L", not a "1". As in "End Line"
1/i/l(L) looks very similair in books :) so watch out!
