Team name: OpenFrag Project name: Broken Alliance Screenshots and demo!: Demo topic
Broken alliance gamedesign document 2D repository 3d repository (yes, we need more artists ;) ) Brief description: Broken Alliance is a medieval fps created by the OpenFrag team. It will contain both multiplayer and singleplayer, although multiplayer is the most important part. The final singleplayer demo is aimed to be released in june, after that a multiplayer demo will follow. We have been at a few game shows like Xplay 2006 (Finland). We have a very dedicated, skilled and active programming team, which you can see here and here. So the coding part of OpenFrag/Broken alliance is completely taken care of. Since the demo is approaching we are currently in need of descent artists. Target aim: Open source Compensation: Credits only Technology: Engine: OpenFrag Core Language: c++ and lua Tools: Photoshop*, Blender, 3ds Max*, XSI, Maya, Visual Studio 2005 express* Anything else as long it supports the Ogre3D formats. We are currently working on our own editor, but that will still take a while. * = preferred Talent needed: - Concept artist - Character modeller - Animator - Map modeller - Texture artist - Shader artist - (Optional) Programmers For the characters: We need characters and also parts of them, like only the arms for in first person mode. For the maps: Maps can currently only be made with 3ds max and the oFusion plugin. If you apply soon, your work will be in the next demo :) Team structure: OpenFrag is led by 4 skilled people, they will give you the advice where needed, answer your questions, anything you need :) My own position in OpenFrag: - Founder - Recruiter - Artist (e.g. the map for the current demo) - Research - Public relations - Motivator ;) - Enthusiast member Website: OpenFrag.org Contacts: Please leave a message at the forum if you are interested.
