Depth of Field Problem in Maya 6.5
I have been using Maya 6.5 for about two years now, and about last month this problem started occurring. Basically I can't see very far ahead of my when I am in the perspective view. For example, when I start Maya up, I can't even see the grid and I have to zoom in a few times and I can then only see a few squares. Does anyone know how to make Maya let me see farther? (I don't think it's my hardware as I have been using the same set up for a while, it's a P4 3.2 GHZ GEForce 6800 running XP) Thanks.

you can change the farclip plane to sth higher in Windows->Settings/Preferences->Preferences Settings-Cameras Far Clip.
PS: this has nothing to do with depth of field.
