Team name: GP3X Project name: Game Engine, no Name Brief description: New Team looking to build a game engine using Realist Physics and Graphis with Direc3D's advanced functions. Built mainly, if not entirly in C++, we plan to create a stylish, smooth running, realtime commercial Game Engine. Currently, the engine is in planning, so now is a good time to get in and get your ideas down with the team. We may also look to port the engine to Microsofts Xbox360, PSP and PS3, but at the current time, PC. What makes us differnet to other teams you might be asking? There are several things, we have the time, experience and managment facilities to get the project off the ground unlike many other projects. From here we have built a map that will take us to our destination, a commercially viable game engine which we can sell do game devs. Target aim: Commercial Compensation: To be discussed within the team Technology: Programming: - Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 or later - DirectX SDK - DevC++ 4.9.9.2 (latest build) - Possibly Ageia PhysX SDK (Latest Build) May also require a program for 3D moddeling. Talent needed: - Experienced C++ Programmers - Physics Programmers - DirectX Programmers - Direct3D Programmers More importantly, I need an engine/game designer to help with engine archetecure.
