Team name: Team Twilight Children (not registered, but getting there) The same guys bringing you Epitaph: The Twilight Children, Savage, Age of Inception, and rebirth! Project name: Lunaria Tales Brief description: Time in Progress: About 4 Days By far one of my most successful previous forum roleplays, Lunaria Tales (also known as Wax n Wan Monsters previously or Michirumon/Kakerumon) had captured the hearts of many who were interested in RPG/Breeder genre roleplaying. The original concept was concieved when I was around twelve years old, roughly eleven years ago, and has spanned through two forum hits, the last being under the name Lunaria Tales. With Epitaph: The Twilight Children in heavy production, but with no way of recieving profits from such a fan project, and with a desire to create something original, I led a small fraction of TTC members into starting a full 3D experience of Lunaria Tales. Lunaria Tales is an in-depth breeder game with roleplaying elements mixed in. It features a set of 'pet monsters' called Michirumon and Kakerumon that wax and wan (evolve and de-evolve) according to the phases of the moon in the sky. These monsters will be featured in-game, along with your own custom character, the breeder, to embark on a journey to save wild 'mon' from an evil captivating force that threatens all of Lunaria. As far as planned, the game features a heavy 'needs' system, in which characters can get sleepy, sick, bored, hungry, etc. all effecting gameplay. Their Michirumon and Kakerumon can also feel effects of these needs. Combat is geared towards both utilizing the powers of your 'mon' and with character-based combat as well. These monsters will be able to breed together, and some players will buy out pieces of land to build ranches and to sell top-grade eggs for hatching, to newer players or to those who simply want more monsters to train. Michirumon and Kakerumon also have very distinct personalities, which will be implemented. You may have a lazy/bored monster and he will speak and act as such, or an energetic/goal-driven monster who will act and speak accordingly. Dialogue scripts will be set in and randomized per personality so that each player gets a unique experience. Just like with Epitaph: The Twilight Children, TTC also hopes to bring the one-of-a-kind character creation system, a well-thought out, engaging battle system, and an all around fun yet in-depth experience. Lunaria Tales will also have a story-driven approach, just like ETTC, with a moving storyline that effects the world of Lunaria and all that live in it. Game plans are being speedily punched out and worked on, and since this already had a very wide fan-base as well as a well thought-out plot and systems working for it, it's going to be fairly a breeze and fun to put together into a living, breathing 3D world for all to enjoy. Target aim: Plans include to release a basic version of the game to all free-to-play, and have a 'cash shop' or 'points' that players can buy to increase an dheighten their gameplay experiences. Compensation: All of those who work on Lunaria Tales will be the first to be paid (on TTC team) as soon as the game makes enough profits to pay everyone an adequate amount. Profits will also stem from merchandise sales: tshirts, CDs, etc. Technology: The game is slated to work multi-OS. It will be coded using Torque Pro Engine until further notice. Frooty Loops is being used for the musick as of now. Photoshop and other art tools are being handled for the artistic concepts of the game. Wings3d, Maya, and some 3ds Max are used for modeling and animations. Talent needed: **Coders: 2-3 coders needed, experience in C++ and coding in Torque Game Engine preferred.** **GUI Artist: Any willing worker here to help make the GUI and to assist in other artistic efforts for the game.** **Modeler and Animator: 2 more needed, animation experience a plus, as well as exp in Maya or 3DS Max (or any other appropriate modeling program).** **Game Mechanics Planner: One more needed to discuss and thoroughly plan out the mechanics to be implemented, and to clearly relay them to the programmers.** **SFX Designer: One needed to handle the sound effects that will be present, from monster cries to simple menu beeps.** **Writer/Event Planner: Helps flesh out the story/dialogues/events as they will appear in-game. Need one more.** Team structure: Administrator/Creator: Cubia Musick: Mattias Euegenstadt Programming: Zain 3D Modeling: Zain 2D Art: Esterk KKFirefox Caramel Cubia Game Mechanics: Cubia GarmGarf Writers/Event Planners: Emerica Kawaii Sync the Tempest Website: Lunaria Tales Forum Contacts: My contact: cubia@epitaphttc.com Previous Work by Team: We're the same guys who bring you EPITAPH: THE TWILIGHT CHILDREN MMORPG You may also CLICK HERE to hear the Title Theme of Lunaria Tales (created by Eugenstadt). Additional Info: This team is limited, so it's first come first served if you're accepted. We only want a very small, focused team of about 20 or less individuals. Lunaria Tales is slated to release some time before ETTC hits, so the profits can go into making TTC a bigger, better production company and so we can test more limits with ETTC. However, that does NOT make Lunaria Tales a simple 'side-project'. We ARE serious about this game, and believe it will become just as popular or more as it's forum roleplay. Feedback: ANY
