Hi, My most recent project involves creating an editor which uses Bézier Curves to move an entity around the screen. An entity will calculate it's current X and Y coords using a timeline which interpolates the amount of time into 0-1. The increments in time are identical. The Bézier curve is supplied the interpolated time value and the correct X and Y is returned, the result is a nice smooth motion curve. The problem is that Bézier curves seem to plot faster around acute angles and slower along straight lines, this gives the illusion of different speeds. Is there a mathematical equation to average the data so that the entity flows around the curve at a constant velocity? Kind regards Graeme Clark
