Howdy! It’s been a looong time since I have written in these forums. I was previously an avid forum go-er here around 1999 and 2001ish (I remember one moderator who loved horses…and the old forums!). I always wished I could post something in the announcements section, and now I can! (if not 8 years later…..) Since I am happy the forum still supports web-based games, I thought my game might be appropriate to announce here. It is really hard to describe as there really isn’t a genre yet for it. An old high school buddy of mine got back together and made it, and now it is solid enough where we are asking people to give their opinion on it and to check it out. We think it is pretty close to release, but in the next few weeks, that is to be determined. In a few words, I guess you could call it a single-player online web-based interactive story puzzle role playing game. I was in charge of making the data base driven engine behind the project, and my friend is currently inputting the content. It is super hero based, and is called Urban Legions.. http://www.UrbanLegions.net I invite anyone out to test it out, and let me know what you think either by responding here, replying to our boards, etc. I am also open to answer any questions about what I did to make the project.
