Holy shit, this is awesome music! I love it! <3
The music for "The first and final flight of the biposaur" seems to perfectly fit the event sequences in the animation. Very nice! Combined with the sound effects, it breathes life into the video.
All of your selected works music pieces are also incredible. I'm downloading them all. The variety in the music pieces is pretty good.
I'm working on a small game project with another student at UW. I'm the game engine programmer and AI guy, she's the graphics programmer and artist (also works in the industry doing art for nintendo DS games).
We're going to start this project in late spring and work on it full time over the summer. Right now, I'm looking for local talent, defining the project scope & writing design docs. We're going to need music and sound effects in the future. Would you be interested in helping us?

Nice stuff Dave. Dark and dirty, just like I like it. B) I'm gonna put your mixes onto my iPod so I'll have something new to listen to on my way to work. Thanks for sharing. :)
You're right, my mix is pretty chilled out. It's from a happy hour set I played at this trendy club in downtown Seattle. People were mostly hanging out and talking, so I wanted to set the mood with some sexy background music instead of playing some of my bigger tracks from producers like Deadmau5 and Mark Mendes.

you got the style right for the situation :) great. and thanks for mark mendes, i think i can use some of his stuff that friday.. we'll see.
i'm into producing own music currently, but babysteps.. :) and no school background or anything. music is strange, programing is much simpler for me :) but that's why music is fascinating. beautiful, but sometimes strange to understand why.. :)
i only use ableton live for production (and traktor 3 nowadays for mixing). what do you use *interested*?

That's pretty good stuff you have there ! Too bad it seems to be in mono.
The mixes sound good and I like you animation pieces Steve. Yet it just leaves one question which I am sure people will bite my head of for saying but anyway what licence is this music under? i.e. do you have the rights to distribute it?
I'm downloading the mixes right now... I love critiquing music, I'll let you know when I've listened!
