I have published the first BeerLeague playtest version on Itch.io and would like to invite you all to have a look, play a few matches and give some feedback on how you liked the game.

You can post your first thoughts here, but it would be very helpfull when you fill in the response form. The link is provided on the main menu page.
Getting started
BeerLeague is amateur soccer seen from the coach’s touchline: the players play the match themselves — you don’t steer anyone with a joystick, you give orders. Pick a difficulty and a formation on the start screen, drag the pucks on the tactics board to set how deep and how wide your lines stand, and kick off.
During play, click one of your men (or box-select a group) and click on the grass to send him there, or click an opponent to open the order wheel — mark him, press him, provoke him, or worse. The man on the ball listens to SPACE (shoot) and the wheel’s pass/dribble orders. Watch the two little bars above a player’s head: energy runs down when you make him sprint all match, and frustration builds when he’s fouled, ignored or losing — a frustrated, tired team stops listening to you and starts picking fights. Restarts are real: the ball has to be fetched from wherever it went, and that pause is yours to move people around.
Your job is to win the match without letting your eleven fall apart. Press H at any time for the full key sheet, and use the feedback button on the main menu once you’ve played a few games — we want to know where it stops being fun.
