Hi everyone!

I'm Emiliano, a music producer and composer from Italy, and I've recently joined this forum!

My main background is in music. I've been working with composition, music production, recording, mixing, mastering and sound design for many years. I also play several instruments, and I've always been fascinated by the whole process of turning a musical idea into something real.

Interestingly, when I compose music, I often start by imagining images and scenes in my head. I picture places, characters, atmospheres and stories almost as if I'm watching a film, and the music somehow develops around those images.

That's probably one of the reasons I've always been fascinated by games. A game can combine music, sound, visuals, characters, environments and interaction into one experience, and I find the relationship between all these elements really interesting.

I'm not a game developer myself, so I'm joining this community mainly to learn more about how games are made, discover interesting projects and understand better how developers approach music and audio in their games.

I'm also currently building a project of my own called THE3FORMULA, an independent royalty-free music library for creators. It grew naturally out of my work in music production and my interest in games, films, videos and other creative projects. The idea is to make good music easier to find and license, especially for independent creators and small teams.

I'm really looking forward to discovering what people here are working on, exchanging ideas and hopefully becoming a small part of the community.

Nice to meet you all!

P.S. Sorry for the very long introduction! 😄

Hey there o/

It's very interesting to me how many music composers adventure in to game dev.

You said something very interesting, to make music real, I also like programing "outside" of just the computer and services because that "is not real".

Anyway, you may not be aware of https://itch.io/, this is one of many places game devs of all natures go to publish and find good resources. Some stuff is free, some stuff is payed and quality varies immensely.
