Hey! Hello there! Welcome to your favourite Weekly Update post! This week was quite a creative one. Most of it is about texts, props and feedback. So without any further ados, let's get right to it!

Feedback received!

First up, let me say this real quick. My patron's feedback was all read and added to the backlog. Thus, next week I'm probably going to rebalance and fix bugs. So this month's monthly build will sorely be available next week.

For everybody else, this also means that the public demo will happen two weeks from now, so remember to sign in to our discord and quickly get notified when the demo's out!

Naming names and texting text

Second, this week was also a text-centric one. I finally put on my writer hat and write some texts. Now, you can say goodbye to "Localised text not found" and hello to actual descriptive texts and names.

I've also taken the time to fix these tooltip layouts a bit. I've also changed how to aggregate items are displayed: now, you can see how many items there are inside.

Finally, I've also added placeholder labels to most items. No more invisible relics in your relic list and empty equipment slots!

Pretty much everything that has a tooltip now has proper texts, so try aiming a couple of items and have a blast reading!

New Deco

Finally, I've added a bit of prop in the last jungle challenge. While there aren't that many, the few there are make quite the impact.

Take a look at these few shots:

Minors Updates

There aren't that many minor updates this time around. However, I did manage to cache some player script, thus making the game a little better.

I've also changed some state scripts to remove some expensive null checking expression for a cleaner static boolean property. I'm not sure of static properties overheads, but I guess it's better than null checking.

And that's about it for this week. A pretty good week for my first proper week since my, erm, vacation. I used the text writing time to reflect on the feedback I've received, so it was kind of efficient in a strange way.

So, with that, I bid you farewell. I hope you all be there for next week's Weekly Update! See you next week!
