May 2026 FREE Asset Round-Up #2

Briefing

Epic’s bi-monthly Fab marketplace giveaway is back for the second half of May 2026, and this round includes 3 free Unreal Engine assets plus 1 Unity asset. The assets are only free during the claim window, from May 19 through June 2, but once you “purchase” them they stay in your library permanently.

For developers, this is mostly a low-effort content grab: useful for prototyping, filling gaps in a project’s asset pipeline, or just building a reusable library for future work. It’s also another reminder that Fab is becoming a recurring distribution channel for free marketplace content, so teams that track these drops can save real time and money over the course of a project.
