Fortyseven Communications to open UK branch; sister agency Indigo Pearl joins the fold

Fortyseven Communications is opening a London branch and bringing sister agency Indigo Pearl more tightly into the fold. Both are owned by Keywords Studios, so this looks less like a new acquisition spree and more like a consolidation of PR and communications services across regions.

The UK office will be led by Fortyseven EVP and co-founder Craig Sinel. Indigo Pearl, which Keywords bought in 2020 for £2 million, will keep serving its existing clients but now gets support from the new London team. Fortyseven itself was acquired in 2023 for an undisclosed amount, and Keywords previously picked up Italian PR firm LabCom in 2022.

The other notable piece is Fortyseven’s new global Creator Relations program. It’s being positioned around how creators actually work and what audiences respond to, with Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) set to lead it. That suggests a more formalized influencer/creator strategy rather than ad hoc outreach, which matters if your studio relies on launch beats, community amplification, or long-tail visibility.

For developers, the main takeaway is that PR and creator marketing are becoming more centralized and potentially more scalable inside Keywords’ services stack.
