GodotFest 2026 returns to Munich this November
GodotFest will return to smartvillage in Munich on November 3-4, 2026, following a first edition that brought in close to 500 attendees, 34 speakers, two stages, and a workshop room. The event is run independently by the Munich team behind GodotCon 23, in cooperation with the Godot Foundation, and it’s positioned as an annual gathering for people building with Godot.
The big change this year is the theme: “Godot Means Business.” Technical talks, panels, and community sessions are still part of the program, but the event is making more room for studios, publishers, and service providers building commercial work around the engine. MeetToMatch, powered by Photon, is included with every ticket, which should make it easier for attendees to line up meetings before they arrive.
There’s also a game showcase with space for bring-your-own hardware, so teams can put playable builds in front of peers and potential partners. That makes the event relevant not just for engine users looking to learn, but for developers trying to validate a project, find collaborators, or make business connections in the Godot ecosystem.
Speaker submissions are open through August 31, 2026 at 13:00 UTC, and first-time speakers are welcome. Regular tickets are 249€ until September 30, then 349€ after that; VIP tickets are 799€ and include a dinner and custom shirt. Premium catering is included for all attendees, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
