TCG Card Shop Simulator’s Biggest 1.0 Feature: How to Dominate Tetramon Duel Master
TCG Card Shop Simulator is moving into 1.0 on September 15, 2026, and the headline addition is Tetramon Duel Master: a playable in-game TCG built around the cards players have been stocking, cracking, and hoarding since day one. The update also adds a fresh wave of Tetramon cards, so the collection side and the play side finally feed each other directly.
The duel rules are straightforward but have enough structure to matter for deck construction. Matches use 50-card decks with up to four copies of a named card, a five-card opening hand, and one mulligan. Players start at 500 Tamer Points, with four face-down Guardian cards acting as a comeback buffer when thresholds at 400, 300, 200, and 100 are crossed.
From a systems perspective, the interesting part is how much the board state matters. Tetramon are played into one of four Elemental Areas — Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind — and attack power is the sum of the card’s Elemental Power plus the zone bonus. Evolution cards stack on top of their base forms, and once a Basic Tetramon has sat for a turn, players can chain multiple evolutions in a single turn if their hand supports it.
For developers, this is a good example of a sim game expanding into a second, self-contained ruleset without abandoning its core loop. OPNeon Games is effectively turning a shop-management economy into a collectible battler, which raises the usual design questions around balance, onboarding, UI clarity, and how much depth a side mode needs before it becomes the main attraction. The game is available now in Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S and PC via...
