Testing and tracing steps

To get oriented in code that keeps getting put down for stretches, ran some tests to find call out issues. Ran into some nullrefs. Need to continue adding robustness to the path mechanism for the Guide item. Made some general improvement changes, while tracking through code.

  • Improved the cleanup aspect of a method for lighting or dimming rooms that indicates the presence of an exit or and entity respectively.
  • Simplified some of the UI logic, while becoming familiar with code for calling item code.

Ran into some issues that will help guide improvements

  • Nullref on guide path to Ward
  • Path to exit has some issues
    • Not drawing correctly on three way pieces
    • Lighten/Darken rooms may be overriding texture
  • Path not lining up between rooms
  • Lock on Whisp interaction
  • Need to clean up path once target is encountered (Create variable)
    • And when target moves
  • Quit on win/score screen not working
